THE NEW RESTAURANT REVITALIZATION FUND PROGRAM
Restaurants, bars, bakeries, wineries, and other entities that may qualify for the Small Business Administration (SBA) Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) program may start making application now. The Restaurant Revitalization Fund is a $28.6 billion effort, through the American Rescue Plan Act back in March, to provide emergency assistance for eligible restaurants, bars, and other qualifying businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The applications opened May 3 at 12-noon (EDT). The SBA has released information to help businesses prepare their application including a sample application and program guide. Click on the below link to apply.
Eligible entities for RRF are for-profit businesses that are not permanently closed and include businesses where the public or patrons assemble for the primary purpose of being served food or drink including: restaurants, food stands, food trucks, food carts, caterers, bars, saloons, lounges, taverns, bakeries, brewpubs, tasting rooms, taprooms, wineries and distilleries, and licensed facilities or premises of a beverage alcohol producer where the public may taste, sample, or purchase products.
